Lambley Jack’s Cowslip Tales was an outdoor community folk-play that explored the history of Lambley Village from Neolithic times to present day, via the Doomsday Book, the Victorian stocking trade and the Second World War. With a chorus of fairies, the play also delved into the legends and mythology surrounding the cowslip flower. The play was a huge success and has now hopefully paved the way for an annual Lambley Jack folk-play.
